IS ETV FOR PROFIT?
No, ETV is a non profit 501(c )(3) corporation. ETV oversees the operation of the community access facility and channels in the Town of East Haven.

HOW IS ETV FUNDED?

Community access is mandated by the Federal Government. Funding is required through Connecticut General Statutes from local cable companies and video providers, such as Comcast and AT&T Uverse. We also receive donations from individuals and local businesses.

IS ETV REGULATED?
Yes, ETV is regulated by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control. ETV follows all rules and regulations in compliance with the DPUC.

HOW MANY CHANNELS DOES ETV HAVE?
We have three channels. Our public channel provides access for  individuals and organizations who would like to produce non commercial programming to air. Our education channel provides local programming produced in our school system and also airs educational programming submitting from other sources. Our government channel airs town meetings, the community bulletin board and programs submitted by local, state and federal government entities.
